chris,
before i could actually think about what to ask her, can i ask you first?
are you going to meet her in person?
if that is the case, then you're so lucky! that's a once in a lifetime opportunity. im soOOoo envious!
still thinking about what to ask her. will comment as soon as i think of a question.
always,
erica
what will you be, a planner or searcher in terms of achieving the MDG?
please read planners vs. searcher in foreign aid by Professor William Easterly on New York University
whehehehe
US is a developed country, what do you used in terms of planning a programs or projects?is it a top down or bottom up approach?what do you think is the best approach for the developing countries like the Philippines in achieving development?
What advice/s can you give to politicians who'll be running this 2010?
congrats on your latest win against coca cola! :D
i wasn't able to watch it so i don't know if the other team used zone press on your team. but i do hope your team can handle that kind of offense now so that you're prepared for both man-to-man and zone press situations.
i hope your latest victory will just be one of the many and successive (i hope!) victories that will land you in the fiba game and hopefully, hopefully, in the olympics. as long as you never lose sight of the goal, learn from your mistakes, and you keep working hard and giving your best, i'm sure getting the olympic gold will not be an impossible feat. ;)
go team pilipinas! God bless! magis! :)
p.s. btw, my answer to your latest poll: i would ask Mrs. Clinton her opinion on concrete ways on how women in third world countries can be a better driving force in helping their nations' economies improve. i don't know if this is related to her position as secretary of state, but knowing her to be a strong and smart woman (it especially takes a strong and smart woman to make her voice heard in the field of politics!), i would like to know her opinion.

hi chris...
if i'd rather a chance, i would ask her on what political leaders/businessmen/youth leaders play in addressing climate change and how does it contribute them...
i think that it would be a possible question for her... :)
take care chris and have a great day!!! :)
I would ask her if she would consider running again to become the first woman president of the United States and if so, what could she have done differently from Pres. Obama?
I'm thinking of something different to ask;not the usual questions about politics or economy, etc. This one might be silly question to some, haha :) but somehow makes sense. And here it goes: "Why is it so hard to get in to your country? "
Talking about CHANGE... as a hot topic... In an american "pointe de vista", being the present Secretary of State of USA, and being the wife of a former president of your land, how has the PHILIPPINES CHANGED from the year of Mr. Clinton's incumbency to the present?
hi chris..
its me ping2 (ILOILO) remember?..
BTW my question will be..
"Mrs. Clinton you have fought to become 1st woman president of united states of america, the most powerfull country in the west but maybe its not the right time but if youre a filipino citizen would you still fight to become a woman president of our beloved country, Philippines whose facing a great challenge with economic crisis? what will you advise to our leaders based on your own opinion?
God Bless Chris.. ...
This is my question for her: We all know that U.S. is a first world country and Philippines only end up to the 3rd world. You (Clinton) already had an experienced, with your husband (Bill), governing a country, what can you advise to those who are seeking positions in 2010 in order to make the Philippines go out of poverty and make it as prosperous as U.S. does?
hi Chris,
What is the reason behind this post?
“What is the first thing come on your mind when you ask by a Filipino?”
“If you were not become Mrs. Clinton, what do you think you are now?
hehehe,,,
Hello!
My question would be:
How can we promote a good education to the youth?
Are they willing to give scholarship grant to Filipinos to study in the US?
Are you well?
The last I heard about you is that you are injured.

Ask her to tell GMA to ensure that she'd step down peacefully on June 2010
Simple question that nobody seems to want to ask: After all the things your husband did behind your back (both the ones he was caught with and the stuff he got away with), why do you still stay in that relationship?
how do you spend your weekends?
what's the best/sweetest thing a follower/supporter did to you?
what do you think will leave you a mark upon staying here in the Philippines in this particular moment in time?
Is it still advisable for people to be dependent on credit cards or should we learn to save money first in order to acquire what we want?
how does the US position itself now after the global financial crisis and the failure of the two wars to actually stabilize peace in Iraq and Afghanistan?
uhm... you seem like you're stressing over what to ask her... i guess you can ask her something about how they think their commitment to the APEC can help us???
hi chris...
i assume that you are going to meet her and you would have the oppurtunity to ask her something.. it's great since she is indeed powerful and influential...
im not that opinionated but i give it a shot....
If granted that you would become the 1st woman President of the United States, what do you think will be your greatest contribution or what would be your best plan to greatly empower women around the world since you are holding the what to be considered as the most powerful position in the world?
hope you will run through my idea somehow...hehe...
thanks...
goodnyt!!!
mike ^^
sorry, hirap ee..
dami ko gxto itanong pero parang kahit ikaw kaya mo sagutin, good luck to you.
"sa tingin nio po magiging maunlad din po b ang bansa namin katulad ng bansang amerika ngaun?
at ano po sa tingin nio ang paraan upang maging maunlad din ang bansa namin?"
ano po ang masasabi nio sa planong pagtakbo muli ni ex-president joseph estrada bilang muling pangulo ng aming bansa? is he can be a great president now than his last term?
nyaks! :/
Pacquiao or Cotto? Hehe.
Mrs. Clinton, what is your beauty secret?
Hi Chris!
I wonder what are the questions for?
Well, I must ask 3 questions for the benefit of the Filipino citizens:
"Since you've been a first lady of America, you might have a knowledge about politics and as now, you are the U.S. Secretary, what firm advices could you give to the next president of the Philippines to have a good leadership for the country?"
"If you are given the chance to be a leader of one democratic country, what would it be? And why?"
"Did you ever attempt to run for presidency?
Thanks Chris :))
I don't know what to ask her. BUt while I was reading the other comments this question popped up in my mind.
Here it is:
USA is a developed country though it had experienced crisis several times. What plans did you had to surpass all the economic problems that you have faced? Do you think these plans can also help the Philippines?
Eep! are you going to meet her in person? I so want to meet her, too!! Even if it is only to shake her hand or something.
wow.
Well, I'd ask her how she stays such a strong woman despite all the controversies and criticisms and adversities she's encountered through out her career.
wow. hilary clinton! woot woot!!
What help can we offer to them (USA) :)
Mrs. Clinton, why are there US troops in the Philippines? Isn't it a violation of our (Philippines) sovereignty?
-erica
what is her purpose of visiting the philippines? i guess that's the simplest question you could ask. with that question, she might tell you the purpose as well as the details of her visit :)
well, ill suggest, you ask her...first, how is she? hehe...seriously,you may ask her, what can she say about the recent happenings in the world like the typhoons and scarcity...ask her din kung anu gagawin o ginagawa nya sa tungkol dun. and if may plano sya pero indi possible na magawa dahil wala sya sa posisyon, sino yung taong iaask nya na gawin yung plano nya para maging possible...

anyways, congrats chris. send my reagrds to rabeh :) i really like him. God bless.
Hi Chris!
I saw your tweet and I thought what the hey lemme give a suggestion. If I were to ask Hillary Clinton a question...and this is quite relevant right now...it would be:
"Seeing the great impact of the recent typhoons in our country (the Philippines) and the upcoming Copenhagen Conference on Climate Change (COP15) this December, what is your stand on the fight against climate change?"
Thanks and more power!
Hey Chris! I am a ME sophomore in Ateneo. My question for Secretary Clinton is: "Since the inauguration of President Obama, what has he done so far for the good of the Philippines and the Filipino people?"
hello Mr.tiu...
>ok.ok.my questions runs this way:
>Good day. Mrs. Clinton, you're known to be a consistently strong and perceptive woman in terms of either politics and common progress; if you were to be given the chance to hold the last say in the matter of either WITHDRAWING or letting the American troops in parts of the Middle East or Western Asia REMAIN there, considering the fact that eventhough the settling were of good terms, but facing the fact that the innocent, feeble and guiltless is vulnerable to violence, danger, exploitation and fear, what would your FINAL DECISION be??
-joyous_pigmonster23
what was your most recent advise to president obama?
HI CHRIS !
IF GIVING A CHANCE TO ASK MRS. CLINTON TWO QUESTION NOT ONE WOULD BE :
1. WHY CHOOSE PHIL. FOR VFA EXERCISE ? WHY NOT DO IT TO OTHER COUNTRIES LIKE AFGHANISTAN , LEBANON , IRAN OR IRAQ .
2. BETWEEN PHIL. & USA WHICH COUNTRY WILL BENEFIT IT MOST ?
ahm... kuya chris, maybe my 1st question in mind for her is, "what will be the biggest contribution of the US in the issue of climate change?", which we all know that US is the most powerful country in the world.
thats it po siguro.....
what's gonna happen with the illegal immigrants? (as we know, there are lots of TNTs in the states)
what are the measures that will be used against them and why?
Ask her how the US got over what happened after hurricane Katrina that we may do the same here in the Philippines.
what happened to Nicole? (alleged rape victim of the subic rape case)
Let's assume that Hillary Clinton has given a chance to be the President of the Philippines for like a short period of time, what will she do to make our country a nice place to live?
dami na kasi Pinoy na nag-a-aspire na tumira sa ibang bansa... in her own perspective anu kaya ang magiging pananaw niya rito? yun lang!
hope na makakuha ka ng idea from our questions.
i-"HI" mu nlng ako sa kanya... close? hehehe :D
Good Luck and Godbless! Enjoy her apparition! (ngeeeek? hehehe) O_O
Chris,
My question for Ms. Hilary Clinton if this will be picked:
"How would you describe Leadership in your country, how should Leadership be, and how can it affect you as member of the community?"
Thanks,
Von
Mrs. Clinton, what do you love to do most of the time?
Question: Mrs Clinton, I'm sure you are aware that we are preparing to elect a new President next year. (Well, hopefully new in the real sense of the word. [You can leave out this comment if you want.]) Partisan politics here are a bit more complicated because of the sheer number of parties and coalitions or mergers. In fact, a presidential candidate is going to try and prove that he can dispense with a party in aspiring for the highest office. In your opinion, how important are partisan politics and when should a party member draw the line between party and nation?
Q. In your lifetime, you have been fortunate to have witnessed historic events such as the end of the Cold War and the toppling of the Berlin Wall. What other significant world event do you think will be realistically resolved within the next 20 years?
one of the main problem of Philippines is the quality of education, do you have any advice to improve the quality of eduction here? and message to young Filipino woman who admire you?
Hi Chris! You are finally back. Wala lang.. I just miss reading your posts. Still looking forward to a long one. HAHAHA..
Anyway, I would ask: Why here in the Philippines?
if you still get to read this comment..
i think it won't be a good idea to ask Sec. Clinton about the Visiting forces agreement. That is something that she would have to discuss with the president. questions regarding the VFA would all be asked to her over and over so you don't wanna be the nth person in the list.
I think a good issue to touch would be the environment and climate change. The country as we all know is greatly affected by such problems with the environment. I think you should ask her if the United States plans to coordinate with the Philippines to improve the environmental condition here.
I quite agree with what some political analysts say about her visit here that only the US benefits a lot from it. I think it's time that our country benefit something that's permanent or long-term at the very least from these agreements and connections with other countries.
And I can't help but notice the rallyists. It's quite embarassing, really. The nature of the intentions of the US for our country may be unknown to us all but they still deserve to be welcomed properly don't you think?
Rally for a welcome isn't a good way to represent ourselves to other countries. Freedom here has gone out of control.
anyway, i hope i'll be able to catch her at school tomorrow. I hope it's a vacant period for me when she comes to UST. I'm really excited to see her. I actually preferred Hilary Clinton over Obama.
Hope to see you too at UST haha.
Hello Chris,
I just saw your tweet, Wow you're very lucky... About the one question, given the chance I would ask her:
Being the U.S Secretary of State, what is the biggest challenge or issue that you faced so far? And if you were to ask our country's presidentiables, what question would you ask them? hehe la na ako maiisip. :p
Goodluck bukas Chris, kaya mo yan.
and also Goodluck to Smart Gilas. Sana 2nd win nyo na bukas. ^_^
God Bless.
i would like to ask her what usa can contribute to Philippines for the improvement of education..
but i doubt it!
she's going to visit here to strenghten the diplomatic relationship between usa & our country through expanding the visiting forces agreement and it kills me,my heart, for our fellow Filipinos..
hmmm... If you can meet her in person.. Whoa.. What a fortunate dude you are..
Anyway,, This is my question for her..
If given a chance to support a Presidential Candidate here in the Philippines, who will it be and why? Any advise you could give to him? (All presidentiables were men Right??)
Another one is....
If you could turn back the time, with the knowledge of what's happening now ( With the US, Phils., Etc..)and Obama not around during the elections.. What office could've you preferred to have? The President's office? or the Secretary of The state?
That's all...
i'm from UST and i'm just curious what was your question to Sec. Clinton...what did she talk about anyway??? we're poorly informed...some did'nt even know that she's coming:(
chris,
i hope you can find time to blog about your experience in the forum.
thanks,
erica
what is the real reason ahe's here?
what did you ask her? and what was her answer? u must post what happened during that forum. it must have been pretty awesome, huh?!
hi chris! good day! thanks for asking for our suggestions. ummm i think the best question to ask Sec. Clinton is this:
As the Secretary of United States of America, what can u do to help alleviate poverty and corruption in the world, in ur country and our country, the Philippines?
well, thats my best suggestion to give. well, im sure u did well too. sorry for late reply. take care always! God bless u always!

hi chris! good day! thank u so much! ummm if i were to ask Sec. Clinton one question (but they're too many! hehehe) it is this:
As the Secretary of State of the United States of America, what can u do to help promote and create world peace, stop hunger, poverty and corruption, and most of all cure and stop the climate change and the environment?
i think that's the one question i'll surely ask. coz those are the number one and most urgent to solve as of now. but theyre too many ha? LOL anyways, opportunity ko na un eh. hehehe
have a great day! God bless u, ur family, friends and teammates etc always! take care always! ur great!

sincerely, gratefully and respectfully,

I'd ask Mrs. Clinton, that with all her political experience, how does it feel to play second fiddle to a political novice like Obama. Before I let her answer, though, I'll make sure to let her know that the tape recorders are off.
Hello Chris,
My question to her is can USA make the world unite? How can you solve CORRUPTION which is really a fact nowadays?
-wen-
what are your insights about the economy of the Philippines?
